The Moffatt school of dancing was founded in July 1990. From small beginnings, the school has grown into one of the largest schools in the west of Ireland.

European Championships 2012
Congratulations to Fiona Donnelly ,Grace Howley,Shauna Carolan,shauna Reilly and Lisa Lavelle who recently represented the school at the European Championships in Germany. The girls returned home with 9 solo medals and all 5 placed in the top 9 in their respective championships. Well done girls!
An Emigrants farewell
Congratulations to all involved in our latest production "An Emigrants Farewell". After a successful debut during the cultural week in lahardane to commerate the 100th anniversary of the Titanic, The cast have been invited to travel to Pittsfield, MA in October to perform in the Colonial Theatre. watch this space as details unfold.

Irish Dance Troupe
Add that extra special something to your event or occasion. Our dance troupe are available for any national or international dance show or event. The dancers are trained to the highest level and specialise in the very best of Irish traditional dance entertainment.

The children of Lir
A full new traditional irish dance show protraying the legend of "The Children Of Lir" was presented by the Moffatt school of Dancing together with local musicians from The Doherty School of music. The show raised in excess of €2000 for cystic fibriosis, Mayo. Congratulations and well done to all involved.Due to demand the show will be staged again.

All Ireland Championships 2012
Congratulations to all dancers who recently competed in the All Ireland Championships in Citywest. The school returned home to county mayo with 39 medals and 4 all Ireland cups.
World championships 2012
Best of luck to all our dancers who are preparing for the upcoming world championships in Wexford.
